Walk over water
Architectural feat classified humanity heritage by the UNESCO, the Canal du Midi was dug in the 17th century to link the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. If its commercial role has diminished over time, today it remains a pleasant place for walks and cycling tours with its shady banks and the numerous boats that visit the Hérault by water.
With its preserved downtown, Pézenas offers a ride through history. During your walks through cobbled streets, discover this charming town with narrow streets lined with wrought iron balconies and beautiful facades. Discover the Collegiate Church Saint-Jean built in the 18th century, the old Jewish ghetto or the antique shops.
